Prospect Consulting began life in 1996 as the Research and Consulting arm of City Insights - a leading London based financial communications advisory company.

In January 2003 Prospect became independent, to focus on providing knowledge based support to government, commercial and charitable enterprises.

The Prospect partners, Charles Blount and Ed Newton, and their team are based close by the City of London.
