Within further education there are still some relevant funding sources which all the colleges and universities to revitalise their properties. After working with colleges and universities before, we understand the amount of stakeholders involved and how vital the deadline, budget and quality are.
Single & Multi-Academy Trusts
We have worked with a range of trusts varying in size. We excel in working with the schools and trusts to put long term plans in place for trying to gain capital funding in order to refurbish, repair or replace areas of the estate in disrepair.
Diocese
Diocese cover a wide range of property requiring maintenance. From educational to religious buildings varying significantly in age and construction. Combining our knowledge of educational funding and building conservation, we can offer a one-stop consultancy service to meet all of the Diocesan needs.
FUNDING SUPPORT
Condition Improvement Funding (CIF)
We specialise in being able to provide recommendations on what the strongest CIF bids are based upon the DFE's annual guidance and using feedback from the DFE on previous CIF to improve and further strengthen all of our CIF bids.
Although other consultants offer this service, very few can provide such competitve rates whilst still providing consistent and quality results from bid writing write through to completion of the project.
School Condition Allocation (SCA)
We have the ability to help trusts put in place long-term capital works and maintenance plans based upon their schools condition and the SCA funding received.
We aim to build a long-term relationship with the schools and repair all major items through CIF allowing for them to only need to use SCA on maintenance items or upgrades not covered by CIF.
Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS)
PSDS is available to all properties within the public sector, not just education. This means it is more competitive, however now more than ever it has become so important due to ever increasing energy costs, salary increases and inflation.
This is one area that could not only improve the school, but drastically reduce future energy and maintenance costs.
ADDITIONAL FUNDING STREAMS
Although CIF and SCA are the primary forms of funding utilised by many academies & trusts. Prospect Consulting recognise there are many other streams of funding available and at the disposal of schools as seen below.
